This is one of the finest vices available to the fly tier today. With only one adjustment, you are able to pre-set the amount of pressure necessary to move the vice body. The rock-solid jaws securely hold a full range of hooks. Velvety-smooth vice rotation allows the fly to be rotated for trimming, cementing or just viewing. Rotation is so smooth that many tier’s use the Supreme as a rotary vice. The “rotary lock screw” secures the vice from rotation in any position. It also serves to set “drag” on the rotary feature. The Tube Fly 2002 is similar to the original Tube Fly Vice, but has been modified to fit a tyer’s budget. The Tube Fly Vice 2002 is fully machined and fitted with precicion ball bearings for smooth rotation. It features a brass collett that holds mandrels for the tubes.
