So what is Ostrich Marabou, basically these are small very soft and mobile Ostrich plumes that can be tied in by the tip and wound like a hackle to produce a super soft mobile hackle! These plumes will make excellent mobile spey hackles. Uses:- Mini lures, Lures, Nymphs and Salmon Flies. Available in 20 colours. 12 per pack.

    2-4” Ostrich Plumes with a soft, windable or strippable centre stem. Fibres can be cut from the stem and placed in a dubbing loop or magic tool and spun to form beautiful collar hackles with plenty of movement. Used on many of the Scandinavian tube and salmon patterns.

    Stunning Colours, by dying other the natural gray feathers with light colours you get a fantastic range of Olives, so the lighter the plume the more it takes the colour of the dye and as the plume becomes darker the colour changes to a range of olives. A must for small nymph bodies, or spin them in a loop to form a very mobile hackle. Mini Plus Ostrich Plumes are bigger than the standard mini plumes, approx. 19cm in length. 5 Plumes per pack.
