  This was probably the first range of hooks which were specifically designed by Albert Partridge as fly hooks. This Classic Hook can be used for Dry Flies and Wets. The Albert Partridge YA was field tested by Datus Proper in his book “What the Trout Said” and came out on top of the list for strength! The YA has a wide gape and offset bend. Surprisingly it is not forged but is made from medium weight wire which accounts for its strength. This range is normally used for wet flies and nymph imitations, but a number of experts recommend them as very strong and effective dry fly hooks. Offset bend with a bronze finish. 25 per pack.
