That have changed with the introduction of the Pro Jungle cock HD. We are very proud to present the best substitute ever made. Through advanced printing and cutting technology we have created a photorealistic substitute that is far stronger than the original, and have some features like being able to bend and shape it to the desired profile by pulling the JC`HD between your thumps. Add to this the precise cut and you have a product that is not only environmental sustainable but perfect every time. A layer of UV Varnish completes the 3D effect and even hard core old school flytyers have a hard time telling the difference between the real thing and the Pro Jungle cock HD.

Reared and dyed by Whiting Farms for Lakeland this stunning Hen Cape as been dyed for your Low Water Salmon and Sea Trout Flies tying hook sizes from approx. size16 to size 10. Long hackles that can be palmered with enough strength in the fibres to hold their shape but give plenty of movement. Like all the Hen Capes prepared by Whiting Farms for Lakeland they have the soft hackle patches at the back left on to give a range of very soft hackles. The Lakeland Grizzly Hen Capes have been carefully selected to give you the perfect hackle for traditional wets and lures. The Lakeland Grizzly Hen Capes have softer hackle than the Whiting Hen, Hebert Hen and hackles that will tie a lot smaller than the American Hen. These capes complement the range of hen capes we stock perfectly. On average you should be able to tie 4/5 flies per hackle and go down to size 16 and smaller. These might not be the biggest capes available but they offer the perfect range of hackles and a colour range that has been carefully selected by Lakeland. Natural Black is SOLID BLACK!!!

These capes are so densely feathered, with very long feathers and you should be able to tie 2-3 flies from each hackle. You will find hackles suitable for tying flies from size 8 to 24 with the predominate sizes being 12 to 18.
