Bronze grade Capes are bigger than pro-Grade and will tie smaller. Recommended by Dr. Tom Whiting Ph.D and graded by Dr. Whiting to make sure Lakeland received an excellent value for money range of capes. Lakeland have noticed that this batch are a lot denser in the feather count and the individual hackles are a lot longer than the same capes bought a couple of years ago, but that’s what Whiting Farms are about increasing the quality of the capes they produce. The individual hackles have fine supple quills for neat effortless wrapping, free from web for more strength and less absorbency with uniform barb length optimal appearance and higher floating flies.
