Whiting Bronzer Grade Genetic Dry Fly Rooster Saddles available in Full, ½ and ¼ Saddles. Whiting are the producers of the world’s finest dry fly saddle hackles, no other producer produces hackles like these!! With saddles it’s all about purchasing a saddle that will give you the sizes you require!! Saddles will only give you 3-4 sizes, Lakeland order saddles that are tying 14/16 so you will get a few 12’s and some 18’s but the bulk will be 14/16. Whiting use a medal system so gold is the highest and Pro-Grade the lowest, higher the grade the bigger the saddle, the denser the hackles. Bronze grade hackles are long so you will be able to tie a least 10 flies per hackle. Half and Quarter Saddles a more cost effective way of purchasing a range of colours, but being a half or quarter you may only get 1-2 sizes!!
