WOW what a saddle it’s stuffed with a cracking range of Furnace Hackles in different shades and as YOU CAN SEE BY THE SIZING it’s TYING SMALL for a Heritage Saddle, but this is why we size them so you can select the perfect saddle for your needs. B isso densely hackled with hackles that range from approx.. 10-16” (26-41cm) as YOU CAN SEE BY THE IMAGES!! Colour wise it’s Cree and splashed with Furnace. Sizing is done by nige, the Uk and Europe Tend to size different to the USA, as far as nige is concerned the size should be from the shank to the point, not 1 ½ to 2 times the hook gape. A nige 14 on the Whiting hackle Gauge is a size 18!!!!
Nige spoke to the Whiting Grading Team, Grade 3 is equivalent to Bronze Grade!!!
