    I love it, i had been tying on a well known but much cheaper vice for ages, so once I had learnt how to set the jaws and in particular how the rotary feature worked , I have enjoyed tying on a seriously better product . In my view it represents class.

    I have been tying flies for over 40 years. This is the second Renzetti traveler vice with the first one being purchased some 28 years ago. Whilst it is still fully operational it is now used in my travelling kit. If the new Renzetti Traveler lives up to the same exacting standards as the original I will be a very happy tier and be ready to pass it on to someone else! Thank you Renzetti

    Previously used a an Anvil Apex and this is a step up in quality of adjustment...the true rotary function is very useful and friction is constant and variable. The jaws have great holding power on large (4/0) or "normal" hooks. I use the clamp version so cant remark on stability. Stupidly expensive for what it is in terms of materials and engineering technicality, but, thats the market !

    This is the second vice I have owned having upgraded from the beginners vice. I wanted one with a sturdy base, but most vices with a good base cost a small fortune. I phoned Lakeland Fly Tying to enquire about it and placed my order which arrived the next day. The vice is of great quality, very easy to assemble by following the straight forward instruction leaflet provided and with the heavy base it doesnt move about when youre working on a fly which was my main concern why buying it. This has been a great buy for the price! It does everything I want it to do and more. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vice.
